A multi-step core stability exercise program is one of the very good exercises for reducing chronic low back pain. Chronic low back pain is one of the most common disorders for nurses in neurosurgery. Due to continuously handling the patients the nurses need to do some core stability exercises in order to get rid of chronic low back pain. Although there is not sufficient data available in support of that multi-step core stability exercise program can reduce the CLBP completely. Hence a study was made with 36 female nurses with chronic low back pain. The nurses were divided into two groups of 18 people. One group has gone for the multi-step core stability exercise for 8 weeks and the other group has gone through a normal diagnosis. The result says that the patients who have undergone the exercise programs have shown significant improvements after 8 weeks.

Therefore the study concludes that the multi-step core stability exercise program is very helpful, interesting and improves the quality of life by reducing the pain and the disabilities of the female nurses who are suffering from chronic low back pain. This study has been done only with female patients as most of the nurses are females around the world.
