ASH News TV
ASH News TV offers a daily video newscast featuring previews and highlights from each day of the 65th ASH Annual Meeting. ASH News TV can be viewed in select hotels’ guest rooms, on shuttle buses, in the convention center, on the virtual meeting platform, and on the ASH website. Broadcasts will be available Saturday through Tuesday during the meeting, and on ASH’s YouTube channel following the close of the meeting.
Hematology 2023
Hematology 2023, the ASH Education Program, provides a review of topics covered in the 65th ASH Annual Meeting Education Program sessions. ASH Education Program session speakers write the manuscripts which then undergo peer review. A chapter on the Ham-Wasserman Lecture, as well as evidence-based mini-reviews related to the topics covered in this year’s Education Program, will also be included. Each manuscript is accompanied by a visual abstract and is available online for all annual meeting attendees. A digital edition of the Education Program will be available for all meeting attendees and ASH members. Also new this year, printed hard copies of the Education Program will be available for purchase.
PosterCast
While visiting the 65th ASH Annual Meeting poster hall, use the free PosterCast app to listen to view five-minute video presentations by the author. This tool is useful when you’re away from your computer, laptop or desk, or for viewing posters while the author is not present in person. Download the app on your smartphone by searching for “PosterCast” in the App Store, or by visiting the PosterCast website and signing in with your ASH credentials. To use the app, scan the QR code on a participating poster or use the keypad to enter the poster number. You will then be able to view a five minute video describing the poster’s content while you view the poster. A link to the PosterCast recording will also appear within the mobile app for the poster description.
Program Notebook
The program notebook contains the master schedule and complete annual meeting program, including information for the general and special-interest sessions, Education and Scientific Programs, trainee activities, oral and poster sessions, and ticketed events. A listing of exhibitors and Friday Satellite Symposia is also included.
Second Screen Technology
Second screen technology enables attendees to view session slides in real time from personal devices, including smartphones, tablets, and laptop computers. Conferences io allows for better viewing of images that can be difficult to see from the back of the session room. Some sessions will use this technology for audience polls, and to submit questions to the moderator. Attendees in participating sessions will be given a unique URL via QR code, which will grant access to view the slides for that session only. The QR code will be displayed at the beginning of the session but may also be found by navigating to the session within the mobile app.
Virtual Platform
The 65th ASH Annual Meeting virtual platform opens Wednesday, December 6, 2023, to all attendees. Most in-person meeting sessions will be broadcast simultaneously on the virtual platform, and attendees will have the ability to ask questions and participate in real time. The platform also includes on-demand recordings of all sessions (unless otherwise noted), as well as access to networking opportunities, exhibits, and more.
