Healthy people appear to be willing to pay high insurance premiums for generous coverage of specialty drugs. A survey showed that respondents were willing to pay, in effect, $2.58 in generous specialty drug coverage for every $1.00 spent in out-of- pocket costs that they would expect to pay with less coverage.
