Endotypes, which are defined to forecast the onset, progression, prognosis, and therapeutic responses on an individual basis, are phenotypes that are clinically important and that may be ascribed to molecular causes. The phenotypes, endotypes, and prospective use of atopic dermatitis in personalized therapy were studied by researchers.
In accordance with the many disease trajectories that most likely share a common pathophysiology, atopic dermatitis may be divided into a number of phenotypes. Although the genotype is crucial for defining endotypes, most people with atopic dermatitis still find that genotype alone has only a limited value. According to recent research, the TH1/TH2/TH17/TH22 cells, which are the primary immunologic markers, may be used to classify the various atopic dermatitis phenotypes according to age or ethnicity. In a personalized medicine setting, recently developed biologic drugs that target certain cytokines have therapeutic potential.
They understood more about atopic dermatitis due to cytokine-based endotypes in various age or ethnic groups. Atopic dermatitis can be treated more individually using recent biologics or small molecules. To establish a more thorough categorization of endotypes and deliver endotype-driven targeted treatments for personalized medicine, more research utilizing integrated multiomic analysis was required.
