The goal was to evaluate the existing literature on the acute management of traumatic penile fracture, with a focus on fractures sustained after collagenase clostridium histolyticum (CCH) injections for the treatment of Peyronie’s disease. Immediate treatment of traumatic penile fracture damage is connected with a much improved long-term sexual health prognosis. There are numerous different characteristics of corporal disruption following CCH delivery, and the tendency is to handle these patients conservatively in the absence of urethral damage.
When done soon after injury, traumatic penile fracture repair continues to produce outstanding results. The post-CCH treatment environment foreshadows greater difficulty during surgical management but may be successfully treated by conservative methods in the majority of patients.
