ITCA 650 (exenatide in DUROS^® device) is an investigational drug product that is being developed for the treatment of Type 2 Diabetes. ITCA 650 is a match stick sized titanium cylinder placed just under the skin in the abdomen where it slowly delivers a continuous and consistent subcutaneous infusion of exenatide for up to six months.

Participants must: 

– be at least 40 years of age
– be diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes for at least 3 months
– have a history of coronary, cerebrovascular, or peripheral artery disease
